The Onshore Energy Account consists of Downstream Energy, Midstream Energy and Power Generation. The portfolio encompasses refineries, petrochemical plants, gas companies and fossil fuel power stations.
Accounts vary from single locations to multinational companies with a global spread of risk. It is a worldwide account; however a majority of values exposed are based in the US. Business is written on a direct and facultative reinsurance basis.
There is no preferred point of attachment. Each risk is viewed on a case by case basis which results in a variety of primary, excess and full limit lines being offered.
